prosafety® installation requirements

The first step for an installation in the customer's network of prosafety®  is to have a server available that fulfills the following software and configuration requirements.

These requirements make reference to the unit from which the webpages will be served. The data engine can be hosted on this unit, or on another independent unit.

Server requirements:

• Microsoft Windows Operating System 2000 or superior.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
• Server Web IIS.
• SQL Server database engine 2000 or superior.
• If the database server is hosted in a unit other than the one used for the installation of prosafety®, the communication between both servers must be secured. 

Customer requirements

• Internet Explorer 6.0 or superior.

As regards hardware requirements, the minimum requirements necessary in order to run the operating system are sufficient to install and properly execute prosafety®. Our only recommendation is to use units that are not excessively saturated, specially their RAM memory, for an optimum execution of the database engine.

Remember that a "Cloud computing" version of the product is also available, for which no infraestructure is required, as the server features will be hosted on one of our DataCenter servers.
